Retirement…Whats Your Plan?

May 13, 2008 · 4 Comments

Do you have plans to retire?  Do you have that ‘nest egg’ put back, the 401K in place, insurance taken care of?  Don’t bet on it!

Here is a reality form I use when I interview someone for my business.  See how you fit into the picture.

1. When would you like to retire?  [ ] In one year. [ ] In two years. [ ] In five years. [ ] In ten years.

Great!  Whats your plan to achieve this goal?

2. How much money do you need to retire comfortably?  [ ]$1,000 mo.  [ ] $2,000 mo.  [ ] $5,000 mo.

[ ] $10,000 mo.   Great! What’s your plan to receive this monthly income?

3. How much money do you need to invest at 6% return to receive your desired monthly income?

You would need to invest $1 million to retire on $5,000 a mo.  How many million do you have?

Most people that reach retirement age depend on social security, a part time job, or a small pension.  If you have trouble making ends meet now on a full income, what will it be like at age 65?

You need an on going residual income that keeps paying you after you quit work and can pay your children after your death.

There is a way.  If you would like more information just drop me an e-mail at: mentorreuben@gmail.com

It is absolutely free and your information will never be passed to anyone else.

    Hi Reuben

Thanks for the eye opener! What a kick in the pants for us!

Most of us spend more time planning a vacation than we do planning our lives.

We’re not sure we can get a million together by next year, so we’ll be looking for something that provides residual income.

    Thanks again for posting this.

    Retirement…What’s Your Plan?

Plan? You want to know about the plan? Why don’t you want to know how it is? But then. If you know how it is you cannot ask stupid questions.

Here is how it is. Of all the people that reach retirement age more than 90% are broke. They have no income, they have nothing.

These people depend on others to give them some money. They depend on their children or on people around them.

Now. Wouldn’t it be more helpful if you tell the people how they can get enough money for retirement? What needs to be done?
